No more Cliffhangers!

14 days can be really long time. Especially if you've just moved to Melbourne. There is so much to see and do and experience here. I guess you mostly are wondering how I like it so far and if I have adjusted to my new home. And the answer is YES YES YES! I really love it already. It was such a great feeling to see Cameron again after such a long time. After being stressed out and confused and feeling strange over things, everything just fell into place again. And nothing else matters!

The place were we are staying is everything I could dream of. We are living in a big warehouse/garage. Me, Cameron and six other people. There is also a couple staying in their van outside of our house and they've got a sweet little dog. So we are a total of ten people plus a dog. The living room area is huge. it's got a couch, fitting about 18 people. a bar,  pool table a DJ booth and it is still a pretty open space. All the bedrooms has their own staircase connecting your room to your own upstairs area which the others are using as their art studios. We haven't got our upstairs furnised yet. The kitchen space is also big.

I am going to make a big collage of pictures to put up here. I am taking probably over 100 pictures a day because I am so super in love with my camera!

We are actually having a party in the house right now. It seems like a lot of people already showed up, but i wouldn't know because I have been hidining in my room with the computer the past 20 minutes. I need to get out there, my birthday is comming up.. in about 20 minutes so I should really get out and join the crowd! I would really like to update this blog! And post my beautiful pictures, but it seems to be no time!! Tomorrow is my birthday and I don't think I will get any computer time at all. I will try to write on monday. Between job searching and house hunting!! Love you all!

Later..

I wanted to write a long update of my new life in Melbourne. But I can't because I need to leave and hand out my resumés... I will give you the update later! And I have nice pictures to show you guys! Just hold on a little more bit!

Guilty

I just need to tell you all that the reason that I stopped blogging is because i was slacking to much. And I felt like I was falling to much behind. And then I got guilty and just stopped! It's basically like how I was with homework. But I will be better. I will start again even if it will just be a sentence a day. And I'll fill in th blanks later.

Anyway, I'm in Melourne, Australia now and I'm having a really good time. I am really happy to be back with Cameron and the place were we are staying is totally great! We just got back from a nice little bar and the guys are hanging out in the living room while I escaped in to my new room. But I can here them calling me. Cameron is calling me a Computer Neeerrrrrd!! Gott taa goooo

Not again...

I'm staying up way to long now to catch up with the blog. Not good! I need to go to bed now because i'm going to the coolest waterfall in Thailand, maybe all of Asia, Tomorrow! When I get back from it, I will tell you about my new hostel, my "Italian evening" and I will let you know were I am right now! It's PARADISE! Here is a small Sneak Peak of were i'm staying now.

SLEEP TIGHT!

"Sleep tight and don't let the Bed Bugs bite"

And here is the story of what happened to me on the very same night, tuesday... Ben was leaving to go back to England and we all stayed up with him and hung out. Strange thing that I wasn't tired due to the sleepless night before. And with No Siesta! Ben left 04.00 in the morning (wednesday) and we went off to bed.. So I thought. After brushing my teeth I saw something crawling on my sheets! It was a bug and of the same sort that I had seen the night before. I was in a "girly mood" so I kind of shoutet out loud about it. Peiter and Luic that has the room opposite of me came to se what it was and they confirmed that it was a BED BUG! A Blood sucking, nasty Bed Bug! I thought that they were smaller, like lice or something. But NO! They are as big as the nail of my pinkie!! We took it away, but then an other bug appeared, and an other one and five more... We killed and we killed but other ones just kept on showing up!! EUUWWW!!! We must have killed like 20 of them and I kind of freaked out a little bit... Well, the only thing i could do was to laugh and the guys laughed as well. But, seriously, i couldn't sleep in that bed!  I went down to the rude receptionist but when he came up to see, they were gone. He was skeptical. But then One more Bug appeared! He took it, killed it, left the room and didn't come back. WTF!! Of course they know about the problem, but he could at least have said something like "sorry about that" or offered me an other room. But nope, he just dissapeard! Not a chance that I could sleep in that bed after all of this! They problably had their Nest in my Mattress! It was 05.00 in the morning and There was not much that I could do than stay up One More night! Gash! Sit in the lobby and watch Mad Men 'till I Rot!

I CHECKED OUT AND GOT AN OTHER HOSTEL THE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING!

The Ancient City and som Magic!

I couldn't sleep that night for some reason. I was simply not tired. Certainly not because of jetlag, but i think it's because i stayed up all weekend and my body adjust super easy to that. So.. At 04.00 am I MADE myself to go to bed. But I guess it was a bit to late because I had booked myself on an other TOOUURR!!

I had to wake up Three hours later. At 07!! Because I was going to some old ruins. I think it used to be the capital once, but what do I know, I couldn't understand a word of what the guide said :P Ayutthaya is the name of an old kigdom and that's were I went. I didn't appriaciate it as much as I should have, though. I guess it's because I was in a pretty bad Shape. A lot of walking in 36 Degrees (((66% HUMIDITY))) and no prior sleep and no breakfast. (stupid me) I admit, the idea is really cool. There are temples and buildings from 1350's!! Do you know how old that is!! It's Rad!

OLD

I got to see sleeping Buddha... And resting Buddha..

... I got to se growing Buddha...

And Here is Jacky With HITLER- Buddha!

But the Best thing of the day was that I got to pet a REAL Elephat! I've never seen one that close before! I wanted to ride one, but they looked really MAL-TREATED! Small houses, no freedom and working with stupid tourists all day. Can't be a good life for them! And check out the PICKER that the tender is using to get the elephant to do as he says. I do not want to support that, thank you!

.. Later on:

I had dinner with Ben, Peiter and Luic. We had really nice food and the waiter was awesome! He made magic tricks for us and it was AMAZIIING!!

"BON APETIT"

Chillin

Elvina had left & it was time to change hostel.
- To something more simple and cheaper.

It was hard because most places were     full..

But after a while I found a small room that seemed alright.

The Hostel was a bit dirty and had some bugs, but it didn't bother me thar much because i met some really nice backpackers there. And the place had a good athmosphare and that's  the most important, isn't it?

I went to an Indian Restaurant & then I met my friend Chino on the street.
And his cousin Miguel and some other dudes.
I got to practice my Spanish, that's awesome!

"Resaca"

We had a wonderful breakfast at my favorutie Vegan restaurant,
called Ethos
.

We went to a huge Shopping mall and then I took the bus home.
The bus was REALLY CRAZY!

The End

Saturday

We changed hostel today. We now live in a fancy hotel. All inclusive (almost) We've got Hot Shower, fridge, AC, Wifi, breakfast included and even Massage included! And some other stuff. it's really nice! Me and Evina went out for some drinks this afternoon and I ate a Scorpion! We're getting ready now, i cut my hair a little  to much and I've got a little too much make up on.

Friday

I had a wonderful morning but i can't write anything now Cuz I got to go because i'm going to a floating market and some other things. I'll write about it more tonight.

I had a great afternoon with a lot of activities. And i took 348 pictures! Hah!
But i don't feel like uploading them now. I'd rather go out and have dinner and drinks. Sorry!

A good evening

We just got back from a nice stroll of the area. It is really crazy out there. We live close to the famous tourist/backpacking street Kao san Road. Our hostel is kind of hidden though. We have a cozy and quiet little jungle lobby. But when you exit our hostel it's pretty full on. You get straight on to the busy tourist street that is packed with markets, food stands, bars, music, lights, salesmen, beggars and off course, Tourists! It has a good vibe. We turned in to a little empty side street were we found a neat little vegetarian restaurant. I had curry and vegetables with a Chang. It was with lime and tofu and probably the best meal I ever had! I didn't want it to ever finish! To bad that I forgot my camera. But I will go there tomorrow night as well, for sure. I will add some pictures to the previous post instead.

Starting my Adventures

It has been a quite long journey from Barcelona all the way to BANGKOK! I had a 24 hour stop in Munich were I Couch surfed at a really sweet girls' place. Her name in Flavia, she showed me around a bit and we had a traditional Bavarian breakfast with her friends. This is the view from her window:

The flight went well. We started it with Bubble wine and sweets! Pretty good food

Today we finally arrived in BKK and it is nothing as I expected. Not better and not worse, just totally different from what i imagined in my head. We landed in BKK international Airport this morning after an 11 hour long flight and i'm lucky to be traveling with Elvina who has already been here so we just bargained a good price for the cab and went straight to a nice hostel that she already knew of. This is Elvina outside of the Hostel:

Elvina, Outside of the Hostel

The day has been really relaxed. We have walked around on a big street with markets, we had some really nice food from a lady on the street. I have been shopping a little bit even though i told myself before that i'm not going to shop anything since; "I don't need anything". It is 20.45, I just got back from an hour of full body Thai massage! It was totally relaxing and I feel super good now. We will end the evening with some beer at an local pub, i would think.

SALUT

Stressed out

I Over slept for work today. I just woke up. Shit. I'm still in bed and I havn't called my 'boss' yet. It stresses me out, cuz i don't know what to say. I guess the truth is always best. Actually, I really didn't mean to. Yesterday i fell a sleep in the middle of writing a textmessage, just Before I put my alarm. It was really stupid, but I had a super long day and was really tired. And then I woke up now instead, two hours late for work, with the phone resting with a half writen mesae next to me. hum..

vårkänslor

When I left the house a couple of hours ago, reality gave me a slap in the face! I hadn't realized that the spring is all ready here! The sun is shining, the grass is green and the tourists are starting to conquer the city. I took the computer up to my roof terrace to bask in the sun. It is a wonderful feeling to sit up here. I'm eating sushi and I've totally got the best view of Barcelona!

I went to Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya this morning. It was nice, but nothing extraordinary.

If you return tonight I'll put up some videos from the circus to which I went to yesterday.
